Daphne Cuthbert has a diverse set of skills and responsibilities that comes from an equally diverse research career. Her market research experience has spanned international research agencies to in-house corporate research teams, where she offers research services to a range of clients in a variety of sectors.
At Insights West, Daphne oversees qualitative research services, which includes recruiting participants and managing our focus group facility as well as operationalizing in-person and online focus groups, in-depth interviews and other qualitative techniques. She is also building and managing the Insights West Feedback Community, an engaged community of thousands of survey and focus group participants.
She began her research career in 2005 at Ipsos, where she specialized in research projects in the retail and branding sectors, then in panel management for the company’s Australian operations. That was followed by several years leading the in-house research team at Rocky Mountaineer, delving into her passion for tourism research.
Daphne holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours, Applied Economics from Queen’s University and completed the Research Analyst Program at Georgian College. She spends much of her personal time with her husband and two young children. She loves exploring the world and BC, sightseeing, camping and fishing every corner of the province, or skiing, cooking and gardening when closer to home.
