For Daile MacDonald, good research tells the story behind the numbers. That’s how brands are built and succeed. At Insights West, Daile collaborates daily with clients to execute on all stages of research, from project design and management through to analysis and presentation of study findings.
Daile offers extensive project and methodology experience in both quantitative and qualitative approaches. While she has expertise across a variety of sectors, she has a particular specialization helping education, public and not-for-profit organizations with their research needs. Daile loves delving into data on demographic and cultural groups, such as teens or specific ethnic groups, to understand what they think and what motivates them.
Before joining the team at Insights West, Daile began her research career in 2008 at Ipsos. While there, she managed a variety of projects, including running a national syndicated report on Canadians’ use and relationship with technology.
Daile has a Bachelor of Sociology from the University of British Columbia and a Marketing Communications Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. A native of BC, Daile is back in Vancouver with her husband after spending several years in Calgary. She spends weekends exploring the outdoors with her miniature schnauzer, Frederick. A bit of a foodie, she’s our point person for the latest food trends and hottest eateries and chefs.
