Cayla Albrecht is most passionate about research that listens to people and connects individual experiences and stories to larger trends. Her ability to think broadly, critically and conceptually in a variety of research fields helps our team make those connections for clients.
At Insights West, Cayla supports qualitative and quantitative research projects through survey design, review and testing as well as report drafting. With an eye for detail, she provides quality assurance for questionnaires and data verification. She also coordinates in-person and online focus groups, manages field work and recruiting and moderates online focus groups.
Cayla began her research career with WorldFish in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia in 2014. Cayla holds a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Concordia University’s Liberal Arts College. She grew up on an organic dairy farm in Southwestern Ontario, but since moving to Vancouver in 2015 she’s reveling in the West Coast opportunities for hiking, skiing and camping, as well as taking part in a community choir. These days Cayla spends much of her personal time with her husband and her little girl.
